Week 1, Day 1: Exploring The World Activity 3 : Scaling New Heights
Arthur Broome created the first law to protect animals in 1822. Two years later Arthur Broome created a charity known as the SPCA in London. However the first SPCA created in New Zealand was in Canterbury 1872. The SPCA charity takes care of animals looking for a new home, such as abandoned animals on the street.
